1. Services Provided
Serotonin Sam offers:
Individual and group coaching (online and in-person)
Workshops and training sessions (online and in-person)
Speaking engagements and keynotes (online and in-person)
Retreats and wellness experiences (online and in-person)
These services are designed to support personal development, happiness, and wellbeing. They do not replace medical, psychological, or legal advice.
2. Bookings & Payments
Bookings are confirmed once payment (full or deposit) has been received. Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers (e.g., PayFast, PayPal, Stripe). Retreats, workshops, and events may require deposits that are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Pricing is displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless noted.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Coaching sessions:
Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled late will be charged in full.
Workshops & retreats:
Cancellation policies vary depending on the event. Please refer to the specific booking details provided at the time of registration.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days.
4. Client Responsibility
By engaging in coaching or attending workshops/retreats, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for your own choices, actions, and results. Our services are not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. If you have mental health concerns, you should seek support from a qualified healthcare professional.
5. Liability Disclaimer
While we strive to provide transformative, supportive experiences, Serotonin Sam is not liable for:
Any direct or indirect damages arising from participation in coaching, workshops, speaking, or retreats.
Personal injury, loss, or damage to property during events or retreats, except where caused by proven negligence.
6. Intellectual Property
All website content, workshop materials, and retreat resources (including text, graphics, and recordings) remain the intellectual property of Serotonin Sam. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data in compliance with South Africa’s POPIA.
8. Changes to Services & Terms
We reserve the right to update or change services, pricing, or these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the “last updated” date.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
